The IS announces its entrance with a powerful and sporty design that promises driving performance worthy of a RWD sedan.
Tighter at the top and wider at the bottom, the redesigned hourglass spindle grille creates a more athletic impression with a low centre of gravity.
Redesigned exhaust pipes express the taut, energetic personality of the IS.
The IS's meters have been enhanced with a combination of chrome- and satin-plating, while a spin-textured dial surface add to the overall appeal.
With controls ergonomically laid out logically to follow a single line of movement, you can focus solely on driving more easily.
A 10.3-inch multi-information screen next to the speedometer displays your tyre pressure, fuel consumption, and audio information at one glance.
The sharp edges on the five-spoke 17-inch aluminum wheels create an unmistakable look of urban sophistication.
A beautifully ornamented leather shift knob, designed to fit snugly into your hand, is just another example of Lexus’s dedication to the details.
The IS 300’s steering wheel shares the expertise and design elements developed for the LFA, while conveniently located paddle shift switches enhance your driving experience.
Give your passengers all-round UV protection when you opt for UV-reducing windshield, door and rear windshield glass.
An eight-speed sport direct-shift transmission features a clutch that locks the torque converter in gears two through eight under hard acceleration.
Select performance to match your driving style with four drive modes: NORMAL, ECO and SPORT S.
The engine automatically turns off when your IS stops, so your fuel can be conserved for a longer drive.
AVS continually adjusts shock-absorber damping rates while driving, delivering the type of smooth ride expected of a Lexus.

Injection is split between the direct and port injectors according to the engine load. This optimises fuel combustion in all driving situations.
The IS 300's engine is equipped with a balance shaft featuring resin gears for even greater smoothness.
As a turbo engine requires smooth intake flow, Lexus engineers focused on creating special ducts that deliver power without noise.
The parking assist monitor accurately guides your parking attempts by superimposing projected parking lines on the back camera’s video feed.
